St. Ann's Warehouse

Contemporary theater under the Brooklyn Bridge

While St. Ann's Warehouse has been the artistic heart of Dumbo (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) beating for years, it took time for this arts center to find a theater worthy of its rich programming. After sailing from one place to another, St. Ann's Warehouse ended up settling in a superb brick building in the neighborhood, which once housed a tobacco factory, located under the belly of the Brooklyn Bridge. The cutting-edge New York and international artists carefully selected to be part of its programming now have a major stage in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

In this den, which is transformed from one performance to another thanks to an ingenious system of removable panels, you can see a contemporary play, listen to a rock concert, attend a puppet show or even admire the prowess of a circus troupe. Flexible in its architecture, the space thus leaves great freedom to artists. St. Ann's Warehouse is a contemporary art address not to be missed!
