Chez Denise is a safe bet, an authentic restaurant in Les Halles like there is very little left. Lunch or dinner at Chez Denise guarantees you a return to the time when butchers and fishmongers sold the fruits of their labor in the streets of the city, a time when visitors and Parisians gladly stopped by Chez Denise for a glass of wine and a generous meal once their shopping was done. Frankly, this restaurant is very well known now. Visitors quickly fill all the available tables and order without counting the traditional French dishes that the kitchen offers. The portions are more than generous, it must be admitted. We love and will love again the chocolate mousses or the floating islands proposed by the Chef.

We recommend that you try to come outside of traditional meal times. After an evening at the Opera or after a concert, go to Chez Denise for a moment over a meal or a drink. This is where you can discover the warm and jovial face of Chez Denise. The restaurant is open until 5am, which will give you plenty of time to enjoy all that the food and the place have to offer.
